As it appears our members have enjoyed recent challenges where we have created original world theme music, I thought this round it might be fun to take the world of FF8 and create our own music befitting the various regions of the world map.

Original Challenge
Your challenge is to create an original track to match one of the regions on the FF8 world map. You can use this site as your guide...

There are lots of regions and locations you can choose from. Find the one that resonates with you and then create a track that embodies that location for you. You can choose to be influenced by the original OST or you can create something completely new and unique. The choice is yours.
Cover Challenge
We are searching for a cover of a Final Fantasy VIII track to use in Phil's next "I Know that Tune" episode. This is a great chance to create a cover of your favourite track and it might get picked to be included in the video!
Art Challenge:
Final Fantasy is a rich world for artists to explore. Your challenge is to create an image that captures the world of FF8 or the creatures that dwell within.
Arrangement/Orchestration Challenge
Once again for this month you can select any previously created original track and talk to the composer to get a copy of the necessary midi to allow you to create your own orchestration of the track.
